We've Moved... Just in time for Christmas
Our New Office |
|
It’s official... BizView.tv have said farewell to Wootton Bassett where we’ve been based for the last 2 years and taken up residence in lovely new offices in Cirencester.
The new offices place us right at the geographical centre of our growing customer network and also offer us the flexibility for future exapansion.
We’re certainly very sorry to be leaving WB, where we were made to feel most welcome but we are keeping our ties with the local business community and will still be active members of the Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce (our very own Paul Dunn is currently President).
Our new address is :

BizView go for a Round of Golf
The Bristol Golf Club
The Bristol Golf Club website
|
|
We had a most civilized trip to the Bristol Golf Club back in the summer when we spent a day shooting a video for them whilst strolling between greens and fairways.
Actually the Club Captain gave us a lift in his golf buggy as we had quite a bit of camera gear to lug around with us.
However, it was a splendid sunny day to spend at one of the most beautiful golf clubs in the West with stunning views over both Severn bridges to complement the picturesque course.
Have a look for yourselves – if golf is your game you’ll want to play here.

Competition Winner Announced
The Talbot Inn
Talbot Inn Website
|
|
You may remember in our last newsletter we ran a competition to win a great prize of food and accommodation at a very nice pub near Eynsham in Oxfordshire.
We can now reveal that the lucky winner was Laura Howells from Warwickshire who correctly spotted the name of the beer in our video of the Talbot Inn, as Maypole Mild.
Well done to all of you that got it right and thanks for entering.
Laura was drawn out of the hat and we gather has already used her prize and had a really good time at The Talbot.

Swindon Charity, Inner Flame, who we are very proud to support, recently held a record breaking 24 hour climbing marathon to raise funds for future projects.
The event took place at Head for Heights in the Cotswold Water Park and we went along to film the volunteers clambering up polls to the equivalent height of the world’s tallest mountain.
Unfortunately for our director, Dave Harries, they needed a few more volunteers, so he was kitted out with helmet and harness and sent up himself.
Thanks to our much braver cameraman, Matt Bigwood, the whole thing was filmed from an even higher vantage point and Dave's "efforts" were captured as part of the event video.
To see this extraordinary challenge, complete with Dave’s rather less heroic performance, click here.

BizView get into Media Training
Jackie Kabler at GMTV
|
|
Following a successful series of media training seminars presented at NRG networking lunches, we’ve decided to expand these talks and bring them to a wider audience.
The new workshops, entitled "Surviving The Broadcast Media" will offer a crash course in what to expect, and how to deal with, an appearance on radio or TV and will include the use of professional camera equipment, lights and personnel, giving the opportunity for audience members to experience the media spotlight for themselves.
These free workshops will be presented by our own Dave Harries and ex-GMTV reporter and presenter Jackie Kabler who both bring a wealth of broadcasting experience to the workshops.
Keep an eye on our website for details of forthcoming events.

We had the honour of suporting a charity and having a great night out last week when we sponsored a Swindon Wildcats player in aid of the National Bullying Helpline, the Swindon based UK wide charity.
The Wildcats are Swindon’s very own professional ice hockey team based at the Link Centre and we went along with some guests and watched a very exciting game (and filmed the best bits for posterity).
BizView director Paul Dunn was presented with the shirt worn by our player (No.12, Raimonds Danilics, who scored a goal since you ask) complete with BizView.tv logo.
It’s a fine shirt but Paul reports it was a little damp and smelly after 60 minutes of hard fought ice hockey.

A couple of musical masterpieces for you this time.
First up is 'The Golden Age of Video', a mashed-up collection of clips from TV and film cleverly edited together to make a pop video.
How many of the clips do you recognise? No, not a quiz this time... just for fun.
Next, it's something that's Hot Off The Press!
The Muppets do Bohemian Rhapsody in their own unique way.
This was only loaded on to YouTube on the 23rd November but has already amassed several million hits.
Note - Queen aficionado's should click with caution.
