The world wide web is fast becoming one huge video playback machine. Or at least it seems that way as more and more businesses use on-line video to reach their potential customers. A recent survey suggested on-line video spend will reach $1.2 billion by the end of this year and could be as much as $4.5 billion annually by 2012 *.
For those of us who have used video on the web these figures are not so surprising. The power of video to convey messages on websites is extraordinary and, fuelled by the explosion of broadband, the business world is now waking up to its full potential.

When you think of on-line business directories you may well think of Yell.com, but now there’s an effective alternative offering more bang for less buck.
TheNationalPages.com are a new kid on the block offering multiple listings, web pages and even video embedding for much less than the established players.
We made a video about them where director Nigel Finch explains how simple and effective it all is.

I think this is amazing!
When I first saw this video I was captivated by the incredible skill and talent of Australian Shadow Puppeteer Raymond Crowe.
The audience on the day appreciated it too.
For me this video works on two levels. First, it's a great piece of entertainment and second, it's performed to a beautiful piece of music which just happens to be my all time favourite song - Louis Armstrong with What a Wonderful World.
