Derek spent over 20 years working in software and telecoms before encountering Creativity in a business context whilst studying for an MBA.

For over a decade he has been promoting Innovation and the use of Creativity as a serious business tool.

Derek has developed the only tool for measuring the capacity of a business to innovate and has worked both in the UK and abroad.

Organisations he has worked with include the British Council, Standard Bank of Malawi, Selther Manufacturing, Global Learning Network, South West Regional Development Agency and American Tower Corporation although his methods are size and sector independent.
